i've been on the most interesting journey
i have recently passed
such a beautiful bend in the road
it demonstrated many things
i've always known
and the pieces keep coming together
every word they all say
leads us right to today
every sound that they utter
is gently, properly phrased
and, it reminds me of things...

in between the time crawling i have tended to hurry
ahead of my class
i have lifetimes of thoughts to unload
this has afforded me many things
and i have grown
if you're one of the pieces
     we'll be coming together
every word that we say

is softly, perfectly phrased
